UNED Torrevieja resumes its Cinecrítico program with a disturbing and attractive science fiction film

The UNED Torrevieja Classroom resumes its Cinecritic Program with the screening of the film Gattaca, directed by Andrew Niccol in 1997, presented by the researcher and doctoral student in Biology, Rosa Cifuentes. It will be screened, in a free session (until capacity is reached), at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, next Tuesday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m.

This film is an ambitious science fiction film that includes highly current aspects of genetic bioethics, despite having turned 25 years old. It is an entertaining, and at the same time bitter, intelligent and provocative film-criticism , presented as a thriller with ideas, a plot that emotionally captivates until the last second.

Cinecrítico began last January 30, taking place every last Tuesday of the months of January, February, April and May, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. This is a film program (thematic and critical film-forum), which features the screening of four "film reviews" and a thematic specialist who will serve as a guide in the discussion with the audience and, in some cases, with other specialized guests. on the topic addressed.
