The Local Government Board approves a modification of credits worth €14,300.791

Last week, the Local Government Board approved the modification of credits to the 2024 Budget of the Torrevieja City Council, which amounts to 13,970,791 euros, and of the “Joaquín Chapaprieta” Municipal Institute of Culture, for an amount of 330,000 euros. In total, a budget modification of 14,300,791 euros.

The Councilor for Economy and Finance of the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, has announced that with this modification of credits, budget items are incorporated, among others, for:

-Supply of electrical energy, which goes from 3,210,818 euros to 5,047,731 euros, thus increasing the budget by 1,836,912 euros.

-Lifeguard booths, increasing their budget from 315,000 euros to 1,021,955 euros, which represents an increase of 706,955 euros.

-Animal shelter, which goes from 1,317,661 euros to 1,483,761 euros, increasing by 166,100 euros.

-Aid, creation, innovation and business development programs, going from 160,256 euros to 500,000 euros, which represents a budget increase of 339,743 euros.

-Programme of individualized financial aid and foster care, goes from 141,297 euros to 341,297 euros, increasing the amount by 200,000 euros.

-Agreement with the University of Alicante, which goes from 150,000 euros to 180,000 euros, increasing by 30,000 euros.

-General expenses in Social Services, which goes from 10,000 to 76,805 euros, which represents an increase of 50,000 euros.

Likewise, among the items created and that constitute extraordinary credits, the increase in:

Subsidy to productive sectors (200,000 euros), investments in buildings (778,003 euros), extraordinary repair of buildings and other constructions (1,055,000 euros), new investment in infrastructure and assets (960,000 euros), investments in land (5,000,000 euros ), machinery, installations and tools (400,000 euros) or subsidy to families and non-profit institutions (100,000 euros)
