20 new Local Police officers take office

An industrial engineer for a Temporary Employment Program, a laborer assigned to the Youth Department, and a pending Stabilization laborer for Parks and Gardens have also taken office.

Twenty Local Police officers were sworn into office in the Torrevieja City Hall on Friday, March 14th. The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, the Councilor for Police, Security and Emergencies, Federico Alarcón, and the Councilor for Personnel, María José Ruiz, were present.

Also sworn in at this same event were an industrial engineer for a Temporary Employment Program, a laborer assigned to the Youth Department, and a pending Stabilization laborer for Parks and Gardens.

Eduardo Dolón has praised the increase in Local Police officers that the City Council is implementing to address the citizen security needs of our city, which currently has more than 106,000 registered residents.

After taking office, the mayor welcomed them all and urged them to work hard to continue improving the image of the city of Torrevieja.
