EL AYUNTAMIENTO AMPLÍA UN MES EL PLAZO DE PRESENTACIÓN DE OFERTAS PARA LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE VIVIENDAS DE PROTECCIÓN PÚBLICA (VPP) EN TORREVIEJA
This extension of the deadline is due to the fact that it has been detected that there is a planning plan of the Partial Plan "La Hoya" that allows the maximum height of buildings for the VPP plots owned by the City Council in 5 heights (Ground Floor + 4 floors)

Last Friday, March 21, the Local Government Board (JGL) of Torrevieja City Council approved, in an extraordinary and urgent session, the amendment to Annex I of the specifications that will govern the bidding process for the sale of municipal plots through the exchange formula with future public housing (VPP) and, consequently, the extension of the deadline for submitting proposals by one month.

Federico Alarcón, Councilor-Secretary of the JGL, has reported that the reason for this extension of the deadline for submitting bids is that the technical services of Torrevieja City Council have detected a development plan for the "La Hoya" Partial Plan, which allows for a maximum buildable height for the City Council's public housing plots of 5 floors (ground floor + 4 floors). This maximum height differs from the rest of the Partial Plan regulations, thus allowing for greater flexibility in the buildable capacity proposed for the City Council's housing in the Vive Plan competition.

For this reason, and given that the deadline for submitting proposals for the construction of 613 public housing units in the municipality of Torrevieja, within the framework of the Generalitat Valenciana's Vive Plan, expired next Wednesday, March 26, the Local Government Board has opted to extend the deadline for submitting bids for another month, with the aim of allowing all bidders to adapt to the height distribution proposed by the Torrevieja City Council.
