The Generalitat Valenciana grants €170,936.39 to the Department of Social Welfare for basic primary care.

The Local Government Board Secretary, Federico Alarcón, reported this morning that the Program Contract agreement between the Valencian Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality, and Housing and the Torrevieja City Council was approved last Friday for inter-administrative and financial collaboration and coordination in the area of social services for the 2025-2028 financial years.
In this way, the Generalitat (Generalitat) is contributing €170,936.39 annually during this period to the Department of Social Welfare, which will be allocated to basic primary care.
The objectives intended to be achieved with this program contract are:
The universalization of the public social services system and its benefits to all citizens, prioritizing those in situations of particular social vulnerability.
The resources of both regional and local governments are limited, so both administrations must align their availability toward common goals of optimization and achieving greater social profitability.
Standardize primary care for social services throughout the Valencian Community, taking into account territorial specificities.
This program contract consists of sheets that include the services and programs of this city council:
Sheet 2 refers to the Basic Primary Care Team, with the professional intervention team (psychologists, social workers, social educators, social integration technicians), the equality unit, legal advisory professionals, and administrative support staff.
Sheet 3 refers to the different services, including the Reception and Care Service for Situations of Social Need, the Autonomy Promotion Service, the Social Inclusion Service, the Community Action Service, which includes care for immigrants (PANGEA), and programs for LGBT equality.
In Sheet 5, reference is made to specific primary care, such as EEIIA (Family and Adolescent Care Service, with a psychologist and social educators) and SASEM (Support and Monitoring Service for the Mentally Ill, with a psychologist, social worker and social integration technician).
Finally, it should be noted that the financial contribution from the Department of Social Services, Equality, and Housing of the Generalitat for the 2025 financial year amounts to €2,447,473.72.
