The city of Torrevieja has once again shone brightly on the national scene by hosting, for the third consecutive year, the grand final of the Domino 's League of Legends Super League. An event that broke all records in participation, attendance, and impact, making our municipality the epicenter of esports in Spain . 650,000 people watched the grand final live.

Domingo Paredes praised the outcome of this event. This final not only consolidates our city's position as a strategic location for events related to the video game industry, but also generates direct employment, boosts local commerce, and projects a modern, youthful, and technological image of Torrevieja.

This year, the Municipal Theater was sold out throughout the day, while the fan zone—set up outside the venue—welcomed hundreds of people who enjoyed the community experience in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Furthermore, thanks to the viewing parties and organized parallel activities, the event was enjoyed both inside and outside the theater.

FC Barcelona eSports emerged victorious in an intense final against GiantsX, thus capping off a day that will forever be etched in fans' memories. Both clubs mobilized their supporters, generating a historic fan turnout in our city and contributing to the liveliness of our streets, hotels, and businesses.

This year's final was also the most- watched of all those held in Torrevieja to date, with unprecedented coverage on social media, specialized media, and general press. Platforms such as MARCA, Mundo Deportivo, Esports Bureau, and even the LVP itself have highlighted both the competitive level and the excellent reception Torrevieja has received as the event's venue.

Throughout the tournament, we were joined by prominent figures such as Jordi Soler, CEO of the LVP, as well as content creators with significant potential among young people, such as Quiquec0. All of this has helped strengthen Torrevieja's visibility among young people and continue working on a strategy that firmly supports emerging sectors linked to the digital economy.

We continue to actively collaborate with the Super League for the upcoming events to be held in Torrevieja in 2026 and 2027, mindful of the positive impact this partnership has on tourism, youth employment, and cultural promotion.

Finally, the Youth Council renews its commitment to these types of events, convinced that video game culture and esports are key tools for connecting with young people, fostering employability, and positioning Torrevieja as an attractive, modern, and vibrant city.
