This July, the City Council will appoint 10 new officials and welcome the 38 officers who have completed the IVASPE course.

The Councilor for Personnel and Internal Affairs of Torrevieja City Council, María José Ruiz, reports that a total of 10 new civil servants have been appointed throughout the month of July to continue strengthening public services. Specifically, two local police officers (substitutes), an administrative assistant who will serve the Departments of Education and Senior Citizens, and a reinforcement laborer for the Department of Beaches have been appointed. Likewise, to strengthen the Department of Culture and allow the city's museums and libraries to open more hours, three laborers, two custodians, and an administrative assistant have been appointed.
In addition, the 38 local police officers who completed the first part of the course at the Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergencies (IVASPE) have returned. They will now begin their internship in the city, completing this lengthy process and being able to be appointed as Career Civil Servants soon.
Finally, María José Ruiz thanked the Personnel Department for its daily efforts to continue recruiting staff at Torrevieja City Council and improving services to citizens.
