The Secretary of the Local Government Board of Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, announced the award this morning of the contract for the implementation of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and complementary actions for the implementation of the LEZ within the framework of component 1 - investment 1 of the PRTR, NEXT GENERATION-EU FUNDS.

The contract has been awarded to Estacionamientos y Servicios, SAU, for a total amount of 1,189,213 euros (VAT included), with the following commitments declared in its offer:

- Commitment to the number of weeks of reduction in the execution period of the first phase: Four Weeks.

- Commitment to reducing response or repair time in the event of a breakdown or incident: Reduction of time by half (6, 12 and 24 hours respectively).

- Commitment to increase the number of hours of the internal training program for the Low Emission Zone: Increase to 10 hours the number of hours of the training program : total 20 hours.

The award amount corresponds to the entire duration of the contract. It is divided into two phases:

A first phase of execution of the contract will beginon the dayfollowing its formalization and will extendfor amaximum period of 15 WEEKS and will includethe drafting of the project, and the supply and installation of the planned measurement and control systems.

This phase will includeactions inlines 1 and 2 described in the Specific Technical Specifications. This period may beshorter if the successful tenderer has offered a reduction in the execution period as an improvement.

A service and maintenance phase that will beginonce the previous phase has been completed and will extendto a periodof 3 additional years, during which the successful bidder mustprovide a comprehensive SaaS (Software as a Service) type service that covers not only the use of the technological platforms, but also the operation, maintenance, connectivity and supervision of all the elements of the system, asdescribed in the Technical Specifications Document .

The contract will be executedin accordance with the specifications that govern it and its offer.

The contract for the lease of a van, three patrol vehicles, four motorcycles, and their maintenance for the local police force is now out for tender.

Federico Alarcón also reported that the JGL (General Police of Torrevieja) has approved the tender for the supply contract for the leasing of a van, three patrol vehicles, four motorcycles, and their maintenance for the Torrevieja Local Police Force.

The base tender budget for the two lots amounts to €325,770.72 (VAT included), corresponding to a 48-month supply period. The contract term is four years, with no extension. The expected start date for service provision is upon signing the contract, which is estimated to take place in early 2026.

Given the nature and characteristics of the supply, a warranty period is not required, as the use of the vehicles is guaranteed by the purchase of insurance and the obligation on the part of the successful bidder to perform comprehensive mechanical maintenance.
