The contract for the acquisition, maintenance and installation of vertical signage in the municipality of Torrevieja has been awarded.

ADJUDICADO EL CONTRATO PARA LA ADQUISICIÓN, MANTENIMIENTO Y COLOCACIÓN DE LA SEÑALIZACIÓN VERTICAL DEL TÉRMINO MUNICIPAL DE TORREVIEJA
This morning, the Local Government Board of Torrevieja City Council awarded, through an open procedure subject to harmonized regulations, the contract for the acquisition, maintenance, and installation of vertical signage for the municipality of Torrevieja to AKRA SEÑAL, SL, for a sum of €424,710, VAT included. This contract will be valid for one year, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

Federico Alarcón, Councilor Secretary of the JGL and Councilor for Security and Emergencies, reported that this award meets the following criteria stated in the company's bid:

  • The warranty period for the supplies covered by the contract has been extended by seven years compared to the legally mandated 3-year period, for a total of 10 years of warranty.
  • Indefinite transfer to Torrevieja City Council of a set of two portable construction traffic lights with the characteristics indicated in the specifications and technical sheet.
