Nacho Duato Dance Company

This coming Friday, October 17th, at 8:30 p.m., the Torrevieja Municipal Theater will host the presentation of the Nacho Duato Dance Company, a group of dancers that preserves and promotes the legacy of one of the most internationally influential Spanish choreographers. Tickets for the event are already completely sold out.

This new company, comprised of excellent young dancers from different countries, aims to transmit the choreographic richness of Nacho Duato to new generations. He returns to Spain with a firm commitment to sharing his art and mastery.

Nacho Duato, a Spanish choreographer and dancer, began his professional career at the Netherlands Dance Theatre and the Cullberg Ballet, working with figures such as Maurice Béjart, Alvin Ailey, and Jiri Kylian. After years of international success, he became Artistic Director of the Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid (1990), where he further developed his reputation.

The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a repertoire where the musicality, lyricism, and physicality characteristic of Duato's works merge into a deeply human stage language.

Borja Niso: Ludovico Musical Experience

On Saturday, October 18, at 8:00 p.m., the Torrevieja Municipal Theater hosts the Ludovico Musical Experience, considered the best tribute to Ludovico Einaudi in Spain, which has impacted and moved more than 90,000 spectators in its first three seasons.

With striking stagecraft and new themes and projections, pianist Borja Niso shares his life story in an innovative, theatrical format that combines live piano music, performance, dance, voice, and a synchronized projection for 120 minutes.

On stage, various symbolic characters interact—the soul (Cristina Gatell), the spirit (María Montes), and the inner voice (Beatriz Villar)—representing the artist's psyche, creating a unique, intimate, and magical atmosphere.

The musical program includes a total of 18 carefully selected works from the repertoires of Ludovico Einaudi and Borja Niso himself, divided into three sections.

This show is suitable for all audiences (ages 5/6 and up) and is designed to thrill you from your seat, to feel the music in a magical way, and, above all, to demonstrate the true power of dreams and help the audience discover their true purpose.

UMT: Winds of Autumn

The Torrevieja Musical Union (UMT) presents its traditional concert "Vientos de Otoño" (Autumn Winds) on Sunday, October 19, at 12:00 p.m., at the Torrevieja Municipal Theater, to welcome the new season with the best original music for wind orchestra.

The group, which has established itself as a historic cultural landmark in Torrevieja with a distinguished career, will perform a varied and select program that will include music by internationally renowned composers such as Jan van der Roost, Philip Sparke, and Eric Whitacre.

The concert will also feature a special solo performance by Torrevieja percussionist Marcos Sánchez Paredes. Paredes will perform "Concertino for Marimba and Winds" by American composer Alfred Reed, adding a distinctive touch to the repertoire.

The UMT invites the public to this essential musical event to enjoy the band's mastery and celebrate the arrival of autumn.
