La Mata celebrates International Iberian Product Day on Sunday, January 18th with a festive day

La Mata will become a meeting point for lovers of gastronomy and traditions this coming Sunday, January 18, with the celebration of the International Day of the Iberian Product , an event that will pay tribute to one of the great references of Spanish cuisine.

The event will begin at 12:00 noon in Plaza Encarnación Puchol , where locals and visitors can enjoy a day filled with a lively atmosphere, music, and good food. The initiative is organized by the Peña del Cochino ( Pig Club), in collaboration with the Torrevieja City Council .

Throughout the morning and into the afternoon, attendees can enjoy meat, bread, and beer , as well as participate in a raffle for hams , one of the main attractions of the celebration. Musical entertainment will be provided by a DJ and a brass band , adding rhythm and fun to an event designed for all ages.

Beyond its festive nature, this day aims to highlight the culture of Iberian products , a symbol of tradition, quality and Spanish gastronomic excellence, as well as to promote community life in an open, participatory and family-friendly environment.
