Meanwhile, the Spanish Junior Tennis Championship, which will be held from June 6 to 12, will bring together 128 athletes, with 64 female and 64 male players, from 17 autonomous communities, turning the city into the epicenter of national grassroots tennis for a week.

The 2026 Spanish Taekwondo Championship, to be held on February 7th and 8th, will be of particular importance. Between 400 and 500 athletes are expected to participate in the pre-cadet category, while between 500 and 600 taekwondo practitioners will compete in the senior category, including athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Furthermore, this championship will count towards qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, reinforcing its sporting and media significance.
