The partial opening includes the section from the "Bella Lola" plateau/viewpoint to the next plateau towards the lighthouse, with an approximate length of another 250 meters.

The Local Governing Board of the Torrevieja City Council has approved this morning in an extraordinary and urgent session, the partial opening of a new section within the scope of the Repaving and Repair works of the Levante Dike, constituting an autonomous functional unit, having spatial continuity, independent accesses, complete routes and all the necessary elements for the public use foreseen in the approved project.

The Councillor for Infrastructure, Sandra Sánchez, has reported that, following the inspections carried out by the Technical Management, it has been verified that the works corresponding to the section subject to partial acceptance, have been executed in accordance with the project and it is a matter of opening a new section of an approximate length of 250 linear meters of promenade, from the plateau/viewpoint of the “Bella Lola” to the next plateau in the direction towards the lighthouse.

The total area of the project is 1,247 meters, of which approximately 700 meters have now been opened to the public with this second partial opening. Regarding the completion of the works and their final handover, the councilwoman announced that this will be by the end of March.
