The City Council awards the lease of new vehicles for the Local Police with an investment of 262,000 euros

Four motorcycles, three patrol cars and a 9-seater van will reinforce the police vehicle fleet over the next four years

With this contract, the Torrevieja City Council continues to make progress in improving the material resources of the Local Police, guaranteeing a more efficient and safer service to the public.

At the Local Governing Board meetings of the Torrevieja City Council held on February 13 and 27, the awarding of two contracts for the lease of new vehicles for the Torrevieja Local Police force, including their comprehensive maintenance, has been approved, through an open procedure subject to harmonized regulation and advance processing of the expenditure, with an investment amounting to 261,998.88 euros.

The action includes the incorporation of four motorcycles with police equipment (Lot 2), as well as three patrol vehicles and a 9-seater van also equipped for police service (Lot 1).

Lot 1: Three patrol vehicles and one 9-seater van

Lot 1 has been awarded to TRANSTEL, SA for a total of €197,181.60. The winning company offered as an improvement the provision of a third additional key for each of the vehicles included in the contract.

Lot 2: Four motorcycles with police equipment

Lot 2 has been awarded to COOLTRA MOTOS, SL for a total amount of €64,817.28 (VAT included). The winning bid includes the following improvements:

Delivery of a third additional key for each of the vehicles covered by the contract.

Reduction of 30 calendar days from the maximum delivery period established in the Technical Specifications.

Duration and execution of the contract

Both contracts will have a duration of four years, without the possibility of extension, counted from the signing of the contract, and will be executed in accordance with the specifications governing the tender and the conditions included in the offers submitted by the winning companies.

With this award, the Torrevieja City Council continues to advance in the modernization and improvement of the material resources of the Local Police, reinforcing its operational capacity and guaranteeing a more efficient and safe service to the citizens.
