ASEMVEGA ANNOUNCES THE 10TH EDITION OF THE VEGA BAJA BUSINESS AWARDS, TO BE HELD IN TORREVIEJA

The 10th Vega Baja Business Awards are now underway. The Vega Baja Business Association (ASEMVEGA) and the Torrevieja City Council, with the support of numerous companies and institutions, are organizing the “ 10th Vega Baja Business Awards ,” whose gala will be held on April 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center in Torrevieja.

With these awards, ASEMVEGA recognizes the work and effort of companies and entrepreneurs in the Vega Baja region, while acknowledging business excellence and rewarding those firms that have distinguished themselves through their track record, innovative character, entrepreneurial capacity, commitment to social responsibility, commitment to sustainability, and outstanding work in promoting the image of the Vega Baja region, both nationally and internationally.

ASEMVEGA highlights the strategic importance of the Vega Baja Business Awards, which have become a benchmark for recognizing excellence and innovation within the region's productive sector. These awards recognize companies that are committed to competitiveness, creativity, social responsibility, and the creation of quality jobs, demonstrating that Vega Baja has projects capable of leading beyond the local level.

The president of ASEMVEGA, Marcos Martínez Crespillo, emphasized that these awards “strengthen collective self-esteem and project an image of a dynamic, innovative region committed to its future,” helping to overcome the perception of the Vega Baja as a peripheral area and placing it firmly on the Valencian Community's business map. For the winning companies, the recognition becomes a reputational asset that opens doors, strengthens relationships, and facilitates new business opportunities.

AWARD CATEGORIES

• Business Trajectory Award : This award will recognize the company with a long history in the Vega Baja region that has demonstrated outstanding leadership, outstanding business management, and a significant contribution to the economic development of the region.
• Innovation Award : This award will recognize the company that has implemented innovative solutions in its products, services or processes, generating a positive impact on its sector and on the competitiveness of Vega Baja.
• Entrepreneurship Award : This award will recognize the newly created company that has demonstrated the greatest growth potential, an innovative value proposition, and a positive impact on employment and the local economy.
• Social Responsibility Award : This award will recognize the company that has demonstrated the greatest commitment to sustainability, business ethics, and the well-being of its environment, both locally and globally.
• Sustainability Award : This award will recognize the company that has implemented sustainable practices in its operations, reducing its environmental impact and contributing to the preservation of natural resources.
• Vega Baja Promotion Award : This award will be given to the company that has done outstanding work in promoting the image of Vega Baja, both nationally and internationally.

PARTICIPANTS

All companies with their registered office or main activity in Vega Baja, that meet the requirements established in these rules, may participate.

The following will be eligible for the prize:

• The company, through a direct request from the interested party,
• Companies proposed by companies, individuals or institutions.

Companies that have received an ASEMVEGA Award in any of the previous editions will not be eligible to apply.
