The City Council is enhancing the town's urban image by planting flowers in various locations throughout the city to mark the arrival of spring and the celebration of Holy Week.

The Parks and Gardens Department of Torrevieja City Council has launched a flower planting campaign in different parts of the municipality to mark the arrival of spring and the celebration of Holy Week, one of the times of year when the city increases its activity and influx of visitors.

During the last few weeks, teams have been working on planting seasonal flowers with the aim of beautifying the urban environment, reinforcing the city's image and creating more pleasant spaces for residents and visitors, especially during these days.

The work has been carried out in different garden areas of the municipality, including:

  • Knight of Rhodes Street
  • Constitution Square
  • CV-905
  • Cortes Valencianas Avenue
  • Rocío del Mar Roundabout
  • José Eduardo Gil Rebollo Recreational Area
  • Monument to the Immaculate Conception
  • Miguel Hernández Square
  • Spindrift
  • Valencian Courts Avenue

These plantings are part of the Municipal Plan for the maintenance and improvement of green areas, aiming for a more cared-for, attractive city in keeping with the importance of these dates for Torrevieja.

The Council reminds everyone of the importance of respecting these plantings, avoiding stepping on them or handling them, and allowing them to follow their natural growth cycle, which is necessary for them to develop properly and reach their full splendor in the coming weeks.
