The program includes contracts of up to twelve months duration, full-time of 35 hours per week, through the modalities of "contract for the improvement of employability and labor market integration" and "training contract to acquire an appropriate professional practice".

Among the positions offered, within the employability and job placement improvement program, are 14 administrative assistant positions and 3 office clerk positions. Additionally, under the apprenticeship contracts, there are 2 lawyer positions, 3 social worker positions, 2 microcomputer systems technician positions, 1 computer network analyst position, and 2 business consultant positions.

Unemployed people registered as job seekers at LABORA Torrevieja on the date of publication of the call and who meet the requirements established in the rules may participate in this call.

For contracts aimed at improving employability and facilitating employment, applicants must be at least 30 years old. For apprenticeship contracts, applicants must be under 30 years old and also meet the specific requirements stipulated in labor legislation for this type of contract.

The application period will be ten working days, starting the day after the publication of the call for applications in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante. Applications may be submitted preferably electronically through the municipal website or in person at the Town Hall's General Registry.

The City Council reminds everyone that each person may only apply for one place and that all supporting documentation of merits must be submitted with the application within the established deadline.

All information relating to the call for applications, application forms and official publications will be available on the Torrevieja City Council's municipal website.

The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the councilor for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Local Development, Domingo Paredes, have highlighted the importance of this municipal program, which “represents a real opportunity to improve the employability of the participants, facilitate professional experience and continue generating job opportunities for the residents of Torrevieja.”

Eduardo Dolón pointed out that "these types of programs not only generate employment, but also strengthen various municipal services with diverse professional profiles, supporting local talent and providing opportunities especially to groups with greater difficulties accessing the labor market."

For his part, Domingo Paredes encouraged all unemployed people who meet the requirements to participate in this call, highlighting that "from the Department of Employment we continue working to launch useful and effective initiatives that help improve the employment situation of our residents, especially qualified young people and the long-term unemployed."
