The FVMP is promoting the "Vega Baja employs 2026" competition in Torrevieja to stimulate job opportunities in the region

The Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), within the framework of the Labora-FVMP project and in collaboration with the Torrevieja City Council, is organizing the 1st Regional Employment Fair “VEGA BAJA EMPLEA 2026”, a pioneering initiative that aims to become a benchmark space for employment, training and connection between the business fabric and the citizens of Vega Baja.

The fair will be held on June 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Torrevieja International Auditorium and will bring together in one space companies, entities, public administrations and people looking for employment from all over the region.

This first edition represents an important step in territorial collaboration to promote employability, bring job opportunities closer to citizens and facilitate direct contact between companies and professionals.

During the event, attendees will be able to conduct quick interviews with participating companies, submit their resumes directly to recruitment managers, access job offers from different sectors, and learn about resources and services related to employment and training.

For their part, participating companies and entities will have the opportunity to identify talent, expand their candidate pools, conduct selection processes in an agile manner, and give visibility to their activity within a regional event.

MEETING POINT FOR EMPLOYMENT AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE VEGA BAJA REGION

“VEGA BAJA EMPLEA 2026” was created with the intention of continuity and with the purpose of consolidating itself as a meeting place for the main economic, social and institutional agents of the territory.

The fair aims to highlight the importance of cooperation between administrations, entities and the business sector to jointly address the challenges of the labor market and generate new opportunities for people seeking employment or wishing to improve their professional situation.

The program will include speed job dating, resume collection, information and career guidance sessions, as well as the participation of entities linked to employment, training and economic development.

The initiative is organized by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), LABORA and the Torrevieja City Council, with the collaboration of the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, the Orihuela Chamber of Commerce, CONVEGA (Consortium for the Economic Development of the Vega Baja del Segura), FEMPA (Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of the Province of Alicante), and the Prospectors of the DUAL FP.

The initiative is also supported by various administrations and organizations linked to employment and economic development.
