The 3rd Associations Festival will bring together more than twenty organizations from Torrevieja this Friday in the Station Park

The Department of NGOs and Citizen Participation of the Torrevieja City Council will celebrate the III Associations Festival next Friday, September 4, starting at 8:30 p.m., in the Station Park, an initiative aimed at recognizing, highlighting and valuing the important work carried out by the city's association movement.

The event will bring together more than twenty associations and organizations from Torrevieja and is expected to draw approximately 500 attendees. The celebration is envisioned as a day of community engagement and civic participation, with representatives from diverse backgrounds and sectors of Torrevieja society.

The program will include live performances and a bar run by the NGO Nueva Fraternidad, helping to create an atmosphere of encounter and coexistence among the representatives and members of the various participating associations.

RECOGNITION OF THE ASSOCIATIVE FABRIC OF TORREVIEJA

The Torrevieja City Council considers that the associative fabric constitutes an essential part of civil society and a fundamental element to strengthen social cohesion, citizen participation and coexistence in the municipality.

Throughout the year, these associations carry out essential social, cultural, and solidarity work, actively contributing to building a more participatory, pluralistic, and inclusive city.

This third edition aims to create a common space where organizations can meet, share experiences and strengthen ties, also fostering the creation of new avenues of collaboration between groups that work daily, from different fields, for the well-being of citizens.

A SAMPLE OF THE DIVERSITY AND RICHNESS OF THE ASSOCIATIVE MOVEMENT IN TORREVIEJA

The Festival of Associations will showcase the diversity and richness of the association movement in Torrevieja, reflecting an open, dynamic and plural city, where people from different backgrounds and realities share the same space for coexistence and participation.

The celebration also serves as recognition of the commitment, dedication, and selfless work of the people who belong to the city's associations. The vast majority of these organizations maintain continuous activity throughout the year and provide essential support to numerous groups and sectors of the population.

The initiative will provide the associative fabric itself with a space to strengthen its relationships, share concerns and consolidate collaborative networks, moving towards greater coordination and participation in the social life of Torrevieja.

The City Council invites all citizens to participate in this celebration and to join the associations on a night conceived as a collective recognition of those who, through civic commitment, contribute every day to making Torrevieja a more cohesive, participatory and supportive city.
