The Department of Sports opens the registration period for new students in the Municipal Sports Schools 2026/2027

Registration will begin in stages between September 1st and 10th, depending on the sport. The offerings include athletics, volleyball, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, fitness gymnastics, adapted athletics, hockey, tennis, handball, and cycling.

The Torrevieja City Council's Department of Sports announces the opening of the registration period for new students of the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026/2027 season. Registrations will open in stages during the first days of September, depending on the sport, and will be aimed at different age groups.

The Councillor for Sports, Diana Box, has pointed out that the Municipal Sports Schools offer a wide variety of disciplines and facilitate access for children, young people and adults to the regular practice of physical activity, as well as promoting the acquisition of healthy habits and values associated with sport.

REGISTRATION CALENDAR

The registration deadlines and age limits for each of the categories are as follows:

  • Athletics : from September 1st, for those born between 2011 and 2020.
  • Volleyball : from September 2nd, for those born between 2011 and 2016.
  • Judo : from September 3rd, for those born between 2011 and 2021.
  • Rhythmic gymnastics : from September 4th, for those born between 2011 and 2021.
  • Maintenance gymnastics : from September 7th, for people aged 16 and over.
  • Adapted athletics : from September 8th, for those born between 2011 and 2021.
  • Hockey : from September 8th, for those born between 2011 and 2021.
  • Tennis : from September 9th, for those born between 2011 and 2018.
  • Handball : from September 10th, for mixed category of those born in 2017 and 2018, and boys born in 2016.
  • Cycling : from September 10th, for those born between 2011 and 2021.

INFORMATION FOR OTHER SPORTS MODALITIES

To access other disciplines, families should contact the corresponding clubs or managers directly:

  • Basketball : Send all information about the child exclusively via WhatsApp to the phone number 615 997 900.
  • Rowing : it will be necessary to go to the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja and take an entrance test there.
  • Football : Students will be selected through recruitment. More information is available by emailing torreviejaclubfutbol@gmail.com.
  • Futsal : Students will be selected through recruitment. More information at torreviejafutbolsala@gmail.com.
  • Handball for children born between 2011 and 2015 : families must send the child's information to the email address bmmanostorrevieja@gmail.com.

REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION

Registrations will be formalized in person at the Torrevieja Sports Palace “Tavi y Carmona”, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

To complete the process, it will be necessary to present the original documentation corresponding to the student and their legal guardian:

  • National ID card, Foreigner's ID card or passport.
  • Family book.

The Department of Sports reminds everyone that there are discounts available for large or single-parent families, victims of terrorism, victims of gender violence, and people with a disability greater than 33%.
