The City Council is expanding its IT equipment to meet the needs of municipal services

The Local Governing Board of the Torrevieja City Council has approved the awarding of the contract for the supply of all-in-one computers, laptops and associated computer accessories to the company HERBECON SYSTEMS, SL, for an amount of 63,996 euros (VAT included).

Specifically, 57 computers will be acquired, consisting of 20 27-inch all-in-one PCs, 20 24-inch all-in-one PCs, and 17 laptops. These are complemented by 20 additional monitors and 140 accessories, bringing the total supply to 217 units of computer equipment and hardware.

This procurement addresses the need for sufficient, up-to-date, and standardized equipment to meet the supply requests the Innovation Department receives from various municipal departments and services. The aim is to ensure the continuity of public service, avoid delays in hiring new staff, and guarantee suitable and efficient working conditions. This acquisition will also allow for maintaining a stockpile of equipment to meet emerging needs and facilitate the creation of new positions.

EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES INCLUDED IN THE SUPPLY

The contract includes the acquisition of the following items:
20 all-in-one 27-inch computers, model HP OmniStudio 27.
20 all-in-one 24-inch computers, model HERBECON PRO AIO 24
17 laptops, model ASUS ExpertBook P1 P1503CVA.
20 additional 27-inch monitors, Dell Pro E2725HM model.
20 articulated, adjustable support systems for two monitors.
40 over-ear headphones.
40 HDMI cables.
40 USB-C multiport adapters.

A CONTRACT WITH SAVINGS OF 8,430.07 EUROS

The awarded amount is €63,996 (VAT included). Compared to the initial tender budget of €72,426.97 (VAT included), the award represents a saving of €8,430.07. The procedure was carried out using a simplified open procedure in its abbreviated form, with only one bid submitted, from HERBECON SYSTEMS, SL, which was accepted, and no bids were excluded. The contract duration will be two months and covers the delivery of the materials but excludes the installation, deployment, and commissioning of the equipment. The expenditure will be charged entirely to the 2026 municipal budget.
