The Torrevieja City Council has put out to tender the project management and health and safety coordination of the future Day Center for people with Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases, an action that will allow progress in a major social project whose construction budget amounts to 10,856,623 euros (VAT included).

This contract, with a base tender budget of 458,638 euros (VAT included), will allow the professional team in charge of supervising the execution of the works, verifying their suitability to the approved project and ensuring compliance with the technical, quality and safety requirements during the work.

The execution phase will last 20 months, starting from the date of the site survey verification report. Obligations to be fulfilled after the works are completed will remain in effect for the duration of the warranty period, which is two years from the date of the acceptance report, until final settlement.

The new Alzheimer's Center will be built in Sector 25 of the PGOU, in a strategic location opposite the Quirón Hospital, and will have a constructed area of approximately 2,700 square meters, within a plot of almost 8,000 square meters, which will allow the integration of spacious, functional spaces adapted to the needs of the users.

The project aims to provide Torrevieja with a new facility for the daytime care of people with Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases. Appointing the project management team is a necessary step towards the realization of this social infrastructure.
