The Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquin Chapaprieta" suspends all its cultural activity in addition to the three days of official mourning.

The Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta” reports that, on the occasion of the tragic train accident that occurred yesterday, it formally joins the decree of three days of official mourning.

As a sign of condolence, respect, and solidarity with the victims, their families, and all those affected by this tragic event, the Municipal Institute of Culture has agreed to the immediate suspension and cancellation of all activities, shows, and cultural events organized by said entity from today, Thursday, October 29, until next Saturday, October 31, both inclusive.

The activities affected by this extraordinary measure are:

-Saul Jazz Band concert, from the Viernes de Palacio jazz series.

-Performance of Don Juan Tenorio, by the Municipal School of Theatre.

From the Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta", on behalf of the entire cultural network of the city, we wish to convey our deepest sorrow, solidarity and support to the families affected by this tragedy, as well as our wish for a speedy recovery for the injured.

Information on tickets and refunds

Regarding tickets purchased for shows and events scheduled during the official mourning period, the amount of tickets purchased through official digital platforms will be automatically refunded in the coming days to the same account or card used for the purchase.
