The ATIS Association is launching a new edition of its Spanish courses for foreigners in collaboration with PANGEA

The Association of Volunteers with Social Initiative in Torrevieja (ATIS) will be collecting registrations and documentation for a new edition of its Spanish courses for foreigners next Monday, September 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. , which are developed in collaboration with the PANGEA office of the Torrevieja City Council .

The registration day will take place at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center , a space where these courses are usually taught, aimed especially at migrants in an irregular administrative situation who wish to learn and improve their knowledge of Spanish.

The courses are taught by ATIS teachers Belén Argüelles, Carmen Cerezo and Querubina Imbernón , who carry out work oriented not only to language learning, but also to promote the linguistic, social and cultural integration of the participants.

The Spanish courses last approximately 40 hours and are a support tool for foreigners who need to acquire basic Spanish skills to function more independently in their daily lives and promote their social integration in the city.

Among the usual requirements for participation are being registered as a resident of Torrevieja and not having a residence permit . To complete registration, it will be necessary to present the corresponding documentation, such as a passport or NIE/white document .

The Torrevieja City Council values its collaboration with the ATIS Association and the work carried out by its volunteers and teachers, contributing to facilitating the learning of Spanish and generating spaces for coexistence and integration for migrant people residing in the municipality.
