Due to the works on the Paseo de La Libertad, popularly known as the hippie promenade, this market has been temporarily moved to the extension of the Avda de la Estación, Torrevieja's greenway until the works are completed.

The Mercadillo de los Hippies de Torrevieja has been held for a long time on the Paseo de la Libertad, but since 2018 the city council is considering the possibility of its transfer to the Dique de Levante.
