The area of Care and Empowerment of the Urban Image of the Torrevieja City Council reports the completion of the beautification works on the pergola of Paseo Vista Alegre.

Last Sunday, coinciding with the inauguration of the International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest, the lighting of the new pergola lighting of this central Torrevieja promenade was carried out. The installation has been carried out on the lower part of the metal beams of the pergola, with a flexible aluminum, lacquered in white, which has inside the led strip with a quantity of 180 LEDs per linear meter, being approximately 600 meters the that have been placed. The chosen led strip produces a linear light effect so that the individual spot of illuminated led is not seen.
The Councilor for the Care and Empowerment of the Urban Image, Carmen Gómez Candel, informs that this is the first phase of the restoration of the Paseo Vista Alegre, pending a tender shortly for the emptying and sealing of the existing planters to complete the complete remodeling of such an emblematic place, visited and photographed in our city.
Finally, it should be noted that a total of 14 companies submitted offers to carry out said work to beautify the promenade, the total amount of execution being 22,708 euros, with a 7-year guarantee.
