The Councilor for Tourism of the Torrevieja City Council, Rosario Martínez Chazarra, communicates that today, Thursday, September 9, the deadline for submitting applications for financial aid for SMEs, self-employed and professionals who carry out their economic activity in the municipality has been open of Torrevieja, whatever their legal nature, that belong to any of the following productive sectors of the tourist field: leisure and hospitality, regulated accommodation, travel agencies and receptive offer, guides and active tourism companies.

Yesterday the extract of the call was published in the Official Gazette of the Provincial (BOE), the deadline for submitting applications being open until September 29, inclusive. The bases can be found on the municipal website www.torrevieja.es and in the procedures catalog of the electronic office.

The amount destined to attend these subsidies amounts to a total amount of 281,664 euros, from funds coming entirely from the Provincial Council of Alicante. The maximum aid to receive is 6,000 euros per applicant, and a fixed amount of 3,000 euros will be applied for each SME or self-employed person who has the status of beneficiary.

In the case of SMEs and freelancers who have the status of beneficiary and have workers in their charge, an additional amount will be applied resulting from multiplying 600 euros per worker affiliated with Social Security as of June 30, 2021, full-time and 300 euros, in the case of part-time contracts. For these purposes, the self-employed collaborators will be considered affiliated workers.

These financial aid are intended to:

The people framed in the regime of self-employed Social Security workers who carry out an economic activity classified in any of the CNAE-09 codes listed in Annex V.
SMEs and people included in the Social Security autonomous workers regime who have at least one contribution account with registered workers and whose economic activity is classified in one of the CNAE-09 codes listed in Annex V .
Applicants must, in addition, meet the following requirements determined in the Seventh Base of the Regulatory Bases, these being, among other conditions of a general nature to the beneficiaries of subsidies, that of exercising economic activity in the city and having the fiscal domicile in Torrevieja at the time of submitting the application for these aids and that they have reduced the average monthly billing of the months for which the aid is to be requested (which must be between July 1, 2020 and July 30, June 2021) by at least 25% compared to the monthly average billed in 2019.
Place and deadline:

The request for the subsidy and its justification will be presented electronically through the Electronic Office of the Torrevieja City Council. The request will be signed by the beneficiary person or, where appropriate, by the person who proves the representation of the interested entity by any means valid in law. The application will be considered complete when all the documentation required in these bases has been submitted.

Eligible period and expenses:

The following expenses that have been paid between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 will be eligible, and must be justified as detailed below:

JUSTIFICATION

1. Self-employed fees charged to the subsidy.

It will be justified by means of the corresponding bank receipt that accredits the payment of the same.

2. The monthly rent of the business premises.

It will be justified by providing the following documentation:

-Lease contract in force, and the natural / legal person requesting the aid must appear as the tenant.

-Invoice and proof of payment of the corresponding monthly payments.

3. Vehicle rental, 100% related to economic activity.

It will be justified by the following documentation:

-Lease contract, the natural / legal person applying for the aid must appear as the tenant.

-Invoice and proof of payment.

-Responsible declaration of the aid applicant that the rented vehicle is 100% affected by economic activity.

4. Professional advisory, management or consulting services related to the exercise of economic activity.

It will be justified by providing the corresponding invoices and proof of payment.

5. The insurance premiums for the business premises and / or the commercial vehicle related to the business activity.

Presentation of the insurance receipt where the business premises and / or commercial vehicle are identified, and the natural / legal person requesting the aid must appear as the holder; and proof of bank payment.

Responsible declaration of the aid applicant that the business premises and / or commercial vehicle are 100% affected by economic activity.

6. The costs of supplying energy and water.

They will be justified by presenting the invoices where the business premises used to carry out the activity and the corresponding proof of payment are identified.

7. Telephone and internet service expenses necessarily related to the activity.

They will be justified by presenting the invoices for the expenses related to the activity and the corresponding proof of payment.

8. Security services of the business premises.

They will be justified by presenting the invoices where the business premises used to carry out the activity and the corresponding proof of payment are identified.

9. Interest expenses on loans for the acquisition of the business premises.

They will be justified by presenting the loan receipt and proof of bank payment, and the natural / legal person requesting the aid must appear as the owner of the loan.

10. Interest expenses on commercial vehicle acquisition loans 100% related to the activity.

They will be justified by presenting the loan receipt and proof of bank payment, and the natural / legal person requesting the aid must appear as the owner of the loan.

11. Expenses for equipment maintenance contracts related to the activity.

They will be justified by presenting the invoices where the link with the exercise of the activity and the corresponding proof of payment is identified.
