The Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center and the Municipal Theater will host two events to commemorate the figure of the Havana master

The Councilor for Culture of the Torrevieja City Council, Antonio Quesada, informs that the Ricardo Lafuente Memorial, which is held biannually, will take place on February 19, in which the figure of this pro Torrevieja composer and poet is remembered. .
For this new edition, two acts have been prepared to celebrate that same day. The first of them, at 12:00 noon, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, with the presentation entitled "Of music and poetry: the lyrics of Ricardo Lafuente's habaneras", by the professor of the University of Alicante, Ferrán Risk, with the intervention of the accordionist Zinoviy Harvat, where the lyrics of the compositions of the master Ricardo Lafuente will be analyzed. The act can be accessed freely until full capacity.
Also, on the same Saturday afternoon, at the Municipal Theater, at 8:00 p.m., the premiere of the play entitled " Irene Gascón " will take place, by the association Ars Creatio, with free admission with invitation, which can be picked up at the offices of the Patronato del Contest de Habaneras, located at C/ Patricio Pérez, 1, 1º C, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
