Meeting with residents of Rocajuna to discuss citizen security issues

Yesterday morning, Tuesday, a meeting was organized with the residents of Torresur, an area of the Rocajuna urbanization, with a majority of British residents, with the presence of the deputy mayor of the Torrevieja City Council, Rosario Martínez, the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, Federico Alarcón, and the mayor of International Residents, Gitte Lund Thomsen, and in which members of the Civil Guard and the Torrevieja Local Police were also present.

The issues addressed at this meeting dealt with the powers of each body (Local Police and Civil Guard), security, home occupation, traffic, emergency services and gender violence.

The Civil Guard took advantage of the meeting with the residents of Rocajuna to explain the procedures that must be carried out to report through the portal of the General Directorate of the Civil Guard, as well as the operation of the ALERTCOPS App.

With these meetings it is intended from the City Council of Torrevieja to bring the Security Forces closer to the citizens and inform about the issues that concern them and the ways to solve them.
