Tomorrow opens the deadline for submitting applications for subsidies to sports entities for the year 2022

The Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Torrevieja, Diana Box Alonso, informs that on June 1 the bases of the subsidies for Sports Events and Activities of the Town annuity 2022 were approved. The bases are published in the BDNS and on the municipal website .

Today, Thursday, June 16, the extract of the bases has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) and, starting tomorrow, Friday, June 17, interested parties will have 10 business days to submit their applications to through the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council of Torrevieja, that is, until June 30 inclusive.

The total amount approved is 35,000 euros.

Diana Box has announced that the most significant changes compared to previous years are:

• An increase in the subsidy item from 20,800 to 35,000 euros.
• Local entities may present 2 sporting events and the rest of entities (Federations...) 1 sporting event.
• Scoring has been included for events that include tests with athletes with disabilities or that favor social integration.
• The events that have been held repeatedly in the municipality over the years are scored.
• The Olympic modalities are scored and if they are official competitions.
