The Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Torrevieja, Diana Box Alonso, informs that the deadline for submitting applications for subsidies to sports entities in the town, annuity 2022, has already been opened. The deadline for submitting applications is 10 business days, so it will end next Monday, July 11.
The most significant changes compared to previous years are:
- The item has been increased from 350,000 euros in the 2021 annuity to 400,000 euros in the 2022 annuity,
- Supporting consultancy expenses are included with a maximum of 720 euros per year.
- Clubs that promote adapted sport are scored.
- Scores for lower categories have been increased.
- Variation in the score of licenses for a better distribution to the beneficiaries.
The purpose of granting these subsidies is to contribute to the promotion and practice of sport in the city of Torrevieja, with the objective of promoting the participation in federated competitions of the teams and athletes of the Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete, Juvenile/Junior and Senior/Veteran during the year 2022 or season 2021/2022 belonging to sports clubs in Torrevieja.
Finally, the mayor of Sports has indicated that eligible expenses will be all those that are directly related to the activities outlined in the project presented by the sports club for the promotion and practice of its sports modality during the year 2022 or the 2021/2022 season , for participation in official competitions organized by the corresponding federation.
