Youth informs that it is now possible to apply for the European youth and hostel card, for young people from 14 to 30 years of age, in a digital version through the IVAJ website

The Department of Youth of the City Council of Torrevieja informs that the Youth European and Hostel Card is now available in digital format. In this way, people between the ages of 14 and 30, both inclusive, interested in obtaining the Carnet Jove can request it online through the website https://ivaj.gva.es/es/carnetjove and will automatically receive the digital card in your email. This will allow users to carry it on their mobile device, which will mean greater comfort in its use.
To access the online form, you do not need a digital certificate; The applicant only has to fill in a questionnaire with their personal data and the payment of the corresponding fee is made through the online platform.
Young people who wish to also receive the credential in physical format can select their collection at the Youth Information and Animation Center (CIAJ) Torrevieja). Those who prefer to apply for the Youth Card in person can continue to do so at the CIAJ as before.
For their part, women victims of gender-based violence and young people belonging to vulnerable groups exempt from paying the fee, as well as young people with a NIE or passport, must go (temporarily) in person to VATJ or to the town halls to request your Youth Card.
The Youth Card allows young people in the Valencian Community to benefit from discounts and advantages in goods and services of a social, cultural, transport, educational, recreational, sports or consumer nature, in Spain and in Europe. It is a program of the European Association of the Youth Card, of which the IVAJ is a part and, consequently, the youth area of the Torrevieja City Council. In addition, the card incorporates the hostel card, valid in youth hostels of the Hostelling International network around the world with what is a 2x1. Currently, almost 200,000 young people in the Valencian Community have the Youth Card.
At a local level, for example, holders of the Youth Card have discounts in the Sports area, in municipal swimming pools and municipal gym vouchers, IMF cinemas, Aquópolis Torrevieja, fast food restaurants such as KFC, Burger King or Subway, training centers and academies and clinics, among others.
