The Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Torrevieja, Antonio Quesada, informs that the Municipal Board of Habaneras recovers the Municipal School of Pulso y Púa, after its disappearance more than 6 years ago.

Starting next Tuesday, October 11, at the Habanera Museum, located in Plaza de la Estación, all children and young people between 8 and 18 years old who wish to be part of this traditional Municipal School of Pulse and Púa, on Tuesdays (from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.).

For its part, the entrance tests for new students of the Torrevieja Municipal Choral School, aged between 4 and 25 years, will be held on Saturday, October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Palace of music; while the collection of inscriptions and enrollment of former students will also be on Saturday, October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Municipal Choral School, which last year had a total of 110 students, will have a total of five teachers, while the Pulse and Pick School will have two teachers.

Both the Choral Singing School and the Pulso y Púa School are back in operation thanks to a contract awarded to the company BE MAGIC, which guarantees teaching for the next four years at the two municipal schools.

The structure of the Municipal Choral School has three groups:

-Minuet A: from 4 to 7 years.

-Children's Choir (Rondó): from 7 to 12 years old.

-Youth Choir (Symphony): from 12 years old.

Finally, it should be remembered that the Choral Singing School was founded in 2002. Since then, hundreds of children and young people have been trained, many of whom have subsequently dedicated themselves to music professionally and, currently, have become prestigious singers. At the school, students receive solid musical training focused on choral singing, with sessions on vocal technique and musical language.
