Eligible costs are the additional investment costs necessary to achieve a higher level of energy efficiency. Said additional investment costs will be calculated as the difference between the eligible investment of the project, defined according to the following paragraph, and the investment of an equivalent conventional installation that would imply less energy efficiency and that could have been carried out credibly without the aid.

Eligible investment of the project will be considered:

  • Investments in auxiliary equipment and facilities (pipes, power lines, valves, connections, etc.) directly associated with the energy saving project.
  • The investments necessary for the assembly and start-up of the auxiliary equipment and facilities indicated in the previous section.
