The Councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, together with the president of the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra (OST), Mamen Mateo, the director of the OST, José Francisco Sánchez, and accompanied by Jorge Lorente Picó, multi-instrumentalist, and David Lorenzo, narrator of the work, have presented the second edition of the Family Concert, which will take place this coming Sunday, March 12, at the Torrevieja International Auditorium, at 12:00.
This second edition will be a story set to music that aims to take all attendees on an unforgettable journey. Through the narrator, who embodies the spirit of music, he will tell the story of a boy who has musical concerns but doesn't know which instrument to choose. Picó, the multi-instrumentalist will be in charge of giving life to that child who will ask the spirit of music for wishes to know how to play each instrument he chooses well.
The purpose of the Family Concert is to bring classical music closer to the little ones and, especially, symphony orchestras. The objective of this initiative is none other than to awaken, among the youngest, the desire to learn to play an instrument. “For us it is a luxury to have the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra for this project. Even more so when we are facing one of the best in our province”, have been the words of the Councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero.
"From the Symphony Orchestra we want to dedicate this concert to Tomás Ballester, as he is also involved in this project", have been the words of maestro José Francisco Sánchez. Free tickets are now available through the entradasatualcance.com website and at the Municipal Theater box office.
