The working students of the Employment Workshop (Vides de La Mata II) carry out their practical training in different municipal departments

The student body working at the Vides de La Mata II Employment Workshop of the Local Development Agency (ADL) of the Torrevieja City Council, which is currently training the Certificate of Professionalism ADGG 0208 Administrative Activities, in the relationship with the client in the CIAJ classroom, is carrying out his practical training in different municipal departments: Pangea, headquarters of the University of Alicante in Torrevieja, Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, Carmen Jalón Municipal Library, Diego Ramírez Reading Room, Department of Census and Statistics and Social Welfare .

The Councilor for Employment and Development, Domingo Paredes, reports that the practical activities they are carrying out are varied and depend on the department in which they carry out their training, but they mainly consist of carrying out support tasks in basic administrative functions related to the contents of the professional certificate. In addition, different training actions related to the project have been carried out, with the aim of enriching the knowledge acquired and complementing the training received in the classroom.

The working students of the Vides de La Mata II Employment Workshop have visited the Agamed facilities, the Torrevieja Tourism Center (CdT), have received talks about Emprende Labora, about Equality, about Labora programs, first aid, etc.

This Employment Workshops is a mixed employment and training program, which aims to improve the employability of the participating job seekers, by carrying out works or services of public utility or social interest. The purpose is to improve the professional qualification of each person and increase the possibilities of labor insertion when the same ends.

A project that has 10 students, in addition to the teacher of the specialty, teachers of modular content and the director, with a duration of 1 year and ends on October 20, 2023.
