Eduardo Dolón maintains a round of contacts with the spokespersons of the political parties that have obtained municipal representation

The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, has held a round of contacts today with the spokespersons of the political parties that have obtained municipal representation for the 2023/2027 term. Some meetings with the spokespersons of the PSOE, VOX and Sueña Torrevieja, in which all issues related to the organization of municipal groups and the functioning of the Torrevieja City Council have been addressed.

Eduardo Dolón has received from the opposition spokesmen the needs that they are going to have, such as the spaces in the City Council to house their municipal groups, the dedications that they intend to obtain, the number of group secretaries, as well as the assignments to the groups municipal councils they would have according to the number of mayors obtained at the polls.

Likewise, in these meetings with the representatives of the PSOE, VOX and Sueña Torrevieja, the possible day of holding the ordinary plenary sessions in this next period from 2023 to 2027, the information commissions and the spokespersons meetings have been discussed.

A round of contacts that the mayor of Torrevieja has valued very positively and that in the next few days all the points discussed in the meetings could be closed. Eduardo Dolón has thanked the predisposition and good nature of all the opposition spokesmen to reach an agreement and that in the next four years a constructive work is carried out in favor of the interests of all Torrevejenses.

Finally, Eduardo Dolón has reported that an Extraordinary Plenary will be held next week to approve the organization of all municipal groups and the operation of the Torrevieja City Council for the next four years.
