The Councilor for Beaches and the Environment of the Torrevieja City Council, Antonio Vidal, has collected in the town of Denia the 6 Qualitur flags that certify the quality and cleanliness of the waters and sands of our beaches , as well as the hygienic services and areas recreation and leisure.

Antonio Vidal has collected from the hands of the regional Secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer these 6 certifications granted by the Generalitat Valenciana

To the beaches of La Mata, Los Náufragos, El Cura, Los Locos, Cabo Cervera, La Mata and Cala Piteras.

The mayor of Beaches and Environment has expressed his gratitude and satisfaction for having achieved that the beaches of our town have this important recognition for another year, in addition to ensuring that Torrevieja is fully prepared to face the summer campaign that has already begun, highlighting the significant investment made by the consistory to have a great lifeguard and surveillance system that is making Torrevieja's sandbanks one of the safest in the Valencian Community.

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has awarded the Qualitur 2023 Flag to a total of 204 beaches and coves in 39 Valencian municipalities, which recognizes the efforts of the towns that offer beaches with clean waters and well-kept sands, surveillance measures, hygienic services, recreational equipment, measures of environmental protection and the guarantee of its universal accessibility.
