The Councilor for Tourism of the Torrevieja City Council, Rosario Martínez, accompanied by the director of the Costa Blanca Tourist Board, José F. Mancebo, and the organizer of the event, Fabri Orlandi, have presented the 11th edition of the Orlander Retreat, which will take place on the 22nd to September 24 in Torrevieja.

This is the first time that this retreat, which is focused on the health and well-being of the LGTBIQ+ group, has been held in Torrevieja. Four intense days that are full of activities and workshops for personal development, physical exercise, as well as tourist, gastronomic and leisure activities. On Sunday, September 24, at 5:00 p.m., a talk/workshop open to the public will take place with the doctor and Instagrammer, Fran Alvarado. This talk has the collaboration of the local association Torrevieja Diversa, which also participates in this event.

Along with the activities that take place within the retreat, tourist visits will be carried out, with the collaboration of the Torrevieja City Council, to the Salinas, as well as to the floating museums. Those registered for the retreat will have intense nautical activities on their agenda, one of the star tourist products in terms of the offer that Torrevieja has for its visitors.

Torrevieja, and the Costa Blanca Board, continue to promote events of these characteristics, showing themselves as an integrative, wellness and sports tourist destination. The group that will stay in Torrevieja during these four days is made up of 50 people from across the national scene, including specialized press and influencers. The Orlander retreat was born with the purpose of giving a space to those people who belong to the group and who, in their places of origin, do not have an offer of activities focused on them, such as those that can be found in large metropolises such as Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia.
