The Councilor for Innovation and Transparency of the Torrevieja City Council, Ricardo Recuero, announces that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1, the new Transparency and Open Government Portal will be launched, which will be hosted on the municipal website www.torrevieja.es. Recuero explained that it is a portal that aims to show a transparent, collaborative and ethical form of governance with clearer accountability to citizens.
The Transparency and Open Government Portal is made up of three main axes, which will be deployed on the web progressively, such as transparency, participation and citizen collaboration.
The new portal will allow the Torrevieja City Council to comply with current regulations, offering citizens information on municipal management, budget management, contracting procedures, works and services, remuneration of the corporation's councilors, subsidies, etc.
Finally, the mayor of Innovation has highlighted that it will be a living portal, in constant evolution and data dumping, to which Citizen Participation will be incorporated as another of the transversal axes of the new portal.
