Next Wednesday, January 17, the celebration of San Antón, patron saint of animals, will take place with the traditional blessing to all pets

As is traditional, on the occasion of the celebration next Wednesday, January 17, of San Antonio Abad (San Antón), patron saint and protector of animals, each year various blessings are organized for animals with the coordination of the Department of Protection Animal to facilitate the attendance of all participants.

Therefore, next Wednesday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m., animals will be blessed at the doors of the Parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, led by its parish priest Aurelio Ferrándiz. Then, at 7:00 p.m., mass will be celebrated.

Also on Wednesday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m., the blessing of pets will take place at the doors of the Church of the Immaculate, for which, as reported by the councilor, Concha Sala, an entrance lane will be made and exit through the installation of a fence, to organize the flow of people with their domestic animals until reaching the moment of the blessing that the parish priest, José Antonio Gea, will give. The same will be held later at 7:30 p.m.

Finally, in La Mata, the blessing of animals will take place on Sunday, January 21. It will be at 10:15 a.m., in the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary, led by the parish priest, Stanislaw Andrzej Jez.
