The NGO Controla Club , in collaboration with the Torrevieja City Council and the Association of Hospitality Companies of Torrevieja and the Region, launches the National Program for the Prevention of Drug Addiction in the Hospitality Sector "Responsible Service", through which it aims to promote the collaboration of the hospitality and nightlife sector in the promotion of healthy and responsible leisure in Torrevieja.
The Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality of the Torrevieja City Council, Rosario Martínez Chazarra, reports that the objective of the “Responsible Service” program aims to launch a network of establishments in Torrevieja, whose premises meet a series of requirements that allow guaranteeing a service. responsible and quality service to its clients.
All these requirements are included in the “Code of Good Professional Practices in the Hospitality Sector”, which brings together advice and recommendations on the responsible dispensing of alcohol, control of the trafficking and consumption of illegal drugs, protection of minors, safety and control of the facilities of public establishments, the reaction capacity of the premises in emergency situations and, in general, the adequate provision of service and attention to customers.
For all these reasons, a registration period has been opened that will last until March 15, so that any hospitality or nightlife company in the city can obtain the program badge and join the Torrevieja Network of Responsible Establishments.
