The Municipal Theater and International Auditorium are flooded with music, dance and fantasy

After a weekend with the best humor, theater and music, this week local culture floods the theater and the auditorium with two concerts: one in tribute to the great maestro Ricardo Lafuente and another with the musical union of two bands from the province of Alicante.
In addition, the “Storytelling” and the interpretation of “Cinderella” return by the hand of
the María del Ángel Dance Academy, which awaits us on Sunday to close the week.

Ricardo Lafuente Memorial
The 3MAP Musical Association together with the Municipal Board of Habaneras, organize the
traditional concert of Symphonic Boleros and Ricardo Lafuente Songs at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja. It will be this Saturday, February 24, at 8:00 p.m., when this commemorative event will be held in honor of the Torrevieja teacher. Through an emotional concert, symphonic boleros and outstanding works that are part of the musical legacy of Ricardo Lafuente will be performed.

This year's cast includes talents such as Nuria Madaloni (soprano), Carmen Lázaro (mezzo-soprano), Alberto Ballesta, and Paco Moreno (tenors), accompanied by the pianist from Torrevieja María Ortigosa and the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra directed by José Vicente Pérez.

This concert promises to pay tribute to the Torrevieja maestro, fusing the wealth

Band meeting
The Torrevejense Musical Union (UMT), together with the Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta”, organizes a musical meeting between bands in preparation for their participation in the 52nd Provincial Music Band Contest of the
Provincial Council of Alicante.
It will be on Sunday, February 25, at 12:00 p.m., when the doors of the International Auditorium open to receive this meeting between the Unión Musical de Crevillente and the Unión Musical Torrevejense, under the baton of Carlos Alberto Ramón Pérez. The María del Ángel Dance Academy presents its traditional performance of "Cinderella" at the Municipal Theater. Dozens of male and female dancers will dance to the rhythm of the best-known songs from this Disney classic with a great staging in which Its characters will captivate us through classical dance.
It will also be on Sunday the 25th, at 7:00 p.m., when the dance academy will transport us to the exciting classic fairy tale through a unique interpretation.
