Youth presents its Spring 2024 Youth Agenda

The Youth Councilor of the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, reports that the Spring Youth Agenda of the Youth Information and Animation Center (CIAJ) corresponding to the second quarter of 2024 is now available.

A total of 14 activities and events make up the new youth programming, corresponding to the months of April to June. Highlights include the live celebration, for the first time in Torrevieja, of the final of the League of Legends National Super League (LOL) on April 5, at the Municipal Theater, with all tickets sold from the first day; the 10th edition of La Comarcon on May 11 and 12, Alternative Leisure Days in collaboration with the La Comarca Youth Association, at the Palacio de los Deportes, and a trip to Parque Warner in Madrid on June 23 and 24.

Regarding training activities, the Official Aquatic Lifeguard Monitor Course in swimming pools, beaches and natural spaces stands out, lasting 210 hours, within the PICE program, in collaboration with the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, for young people registered in Youth Guarantee. In addition, canva courses, introduction to GTP chat and artificial intelligence, and drone handling and flying (initiation level) are included.

In the languages section there is an A2 French Course available, which starts on April 17. In addition, a multi-adventure water canyoning activity is planned in Anna (Valencia) scheduled for Saturday, May 18.

Like every quarter, activities are carried out in collaboration with the La Comarca Youth Association with role-playing games, board games, solidarity activities, tournaments and thematic events at the CIAJ and Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center and throughout the quarter. In addition, the summer celebration of the Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF) is moving forward, in Antonio Soria Park on August 3 and 4, with confirmed artists such as Manuel Turizo, María Becerra, El Alfa or Noriel and with tickets on sale at https ://reggaetonbeachfestival.com/es/festivales/summer/torrevieja .

Domingo Paredes recalled that, in addition, the twice-monthly inclusive leisure outings and conversations in English with British volunteers continue at the CIAJ, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
