Torrevieja celebrates World Tai Chi-Chi Kung Day

The Municipal Taichi-ChiKung School of Torrevieja is celebrating World Taichi-ChiKung Day in 2024, which under the motto “ One World, One Breath ”, will carry out a series of activities that will begin this coming Thursday, April 25, in the Plaza de la Constitución with the reading of a statement and a subsequent class where you will be invited to participate in these arts that stimulate the encounter with oneself through this physical and meditative activity.

This celebration of World Taichi-ChiKung Day will culminate on Saturday, April 27, in which more than 80 united countries commemorate it under the same motto. The event will take place on Paseo de Juan Aparicio, next to the monument to the Man of the Sea, starting at 10:00 am. The program of activities will include classes, exhibitions and a subsequent social gathering for students and friends.

Finally, it should be noted that since this year the Municipal Taichi-ChiKung School has a new location, since it has moved from the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center to the multipurpose building on Habaneras Street, which has allowed for expanded places and improved schedules. , improving quality and attention to students.
