TRAILS IN THE MOLINO DEL AGUA MUNICIPAL NATURAL AREA:
The Molino del Agua Natural Area, in La Mata, is a perfect example of the extensive dune system that once predominated on the coast of the province of Alicante and today has seen its presence greatly reduced.
In this area, you'll find a replica of the watermill, one of the few freshwater wells located near the coast. This well was used by workers in the salt industry. Meeting point: parking lot located on Avenida de Soria, next to the La Mata footpath.
