The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the councilor for Development and Employment in, Domingo Paredes, welcomed yesterday the 33 people under 30 years of age who have begun to work in the Torrevieja town hall, during a period of 12 months, within the EMPUJU 2021 program.

The Councilor for Development and Employment in the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, has reported that since today, Wednesday, December 1, a total of 38 unemployed people over 30 years old, belonging to the ECOVID 2021 program, have begun to work in the consistory. It is a program of employment subsidies for the hiring of unemployed people of at least 30 years of age by local entities, within the framework of the Operational Program of the European Social Fund 2014-2020 of the Valencian Community (Avalem Experience Plus).

Presented four new vans of the Local Police for various service units
The mayor has informed that the acquisition of these four vans is included in the lease for a period of four years of a total of 17 vehicles (12 vehicles and 5 vans), fully equipped with the latest technologies in safety and efficiency. The contract for the 17 vehicles has involved a municipal investment of 702,000 euros, divided into four years, being about 175,000 euros per year with VAT included.
