An eco-park is a selective waste collection facility, where citizens can deposit free of charge those materials that have no place in traditional containers.
The eco-park is designed to adequately store waste that, due to its volume or its dangerousness, would hinder the municipal management of waste in the event of depositing it in the containers intended for the collection of urban solid waste. For this, it has: a special waste shed, a large volume container area and a covered area.
These wastes are taken to sorting plants, where the materials that we later reuse are separated, recovered and recycled. The fractions that are not usable go to a controlled landfill.
