The Councilor for Education of the Torrevieja City Council, Ricardo Recuero, has welcomed the work of Ars Creatio in the culture of the city, saying that “Ars Creatio is essential for the cultural survival of our city”.

After him, the president of Ars Creatio, Josefina Nieto, the director of the MUDIC, Mari Carmen Perea, and María Luisa Molina, quoting the words of the well-known astrophysicist and scientific communicator, Carl Sagan, in a letter addressed to the members of a Scientific society that in 1981 still did not admit women: "If the club restricts its membership to men, the loss will be ours", indicating that science could not do without the minds and hands of 50% of humanity (letter of Carl Sagan: https://bit.ly/3AgAX1I ). Soon after, the women were admitted.

Today, invisibility, both for themselves and for their own work, is another of the many obstacles that women face in scientific careers. In order to make scientists visible and break stereotypes and roles, this exhibition brings to the general population the life and research of female leaders in science. The protagonists are women from more than 20 Mediterranean nations.

On September 22 and 23 in the morning, at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. yincanas will be held for the students in which they will have to overcome a series of tests and challenges that will reveal the secrets of the exposition.
