Special bus operation for the feast of all saints from Saturday, October 30

The Torrevieja City Council, through its Department of Cemeteries, has prepared a special operation on the occasion of the celebration of the All Saints Day Festival (November 1), which includes a free bus service to transfer citizens to the Municipal Cemetery, with different stops, and which will begin next Saturday, October 30, and will end on Monday, November 1.

The delegate councilor for Cemeteries, Sandra Sánchez, has announced that there will be 6 scheduled bus stops, being located at:

  1. Maria Asunción Square.
  2. Colonia San Esteban (in front of Bar Manolo).
  3. Torrevieja Television (C / San Policarpo, 41).
  4. Eras de la Sal interchange.
  5. Acequión Health Center (C / Urbano Arregui).
  6. Torrevieja Municipal Cemetery.

The schedule of the special bus service on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of October will be as follows: Outbound (10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.) Return (11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) 30 h. And 17:00 h.).

Likewise, Sandra Sánchez has reported that on Monday, November 1, the buses that will carry out this special service of the All Saints Festival will begin to leave for the Camposanto Torrevieja at 10:00 a.m., and also at 11:15 a.m. . - 12:30 h. - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 17:15 h.

The return from the Cemetery on November 1 will be at 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 h. - 13:15 h. - 15:30 h. - 4:45 p.m. and 18:00 h.

The mayor of Cemeteries has recalled that, as in previous years, a special Local Police and Civil Protection device has been created that will control access to the Torrevieja Cemetery and the La Mata district, in addition to controlling the parking areas of both cemeteries.

Regarding the general measures for citizenship established in the current health regulations, the use of a mask will be mandatory inside the cemetery and different places of entry and exit to the cemetery have been established. Hydroalcoholic gel and disinfectant will be dispensed to all users for people who use objects for cleaning and watering the flowers. Likewise, the Department of Health has reinforced the cleaning and disinfection of the toilets to guarantee the state of health and hygiene of the same.

Finally, Sandra Sánchez informs that in the facilities of the Torrevieja Municipal Cemetery the Holy Rosary will be officiated at 4:30 p.m. and, later, at 5:00 p.m., the Holy Mass, which will be officiated by Pedro Payá, vicar of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and parish priest of San Roque and Santa Ana, to which the Municipal Cemetery is attached.
